WRFA 107.9 FM will once again present the candidates who are participating in contested races for the 2025 Jamestown City Council elections in a special Meet the Candidates forum, scheduled for Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts' Multimedia Studio.
The forum will be broadcast live on WRFA radio (107.9 FM or streaming at www.WRFALP.com/Streaming) and also live streamed on WRFA's Youtube Channel. It will also be broadcast on Media One Radio on a future date.

Sukanya Burman Dance will offer an interactive, movement-based session tailored for participants of The Reg's Memory Café. This program focuses on gentle, accessible movement and creative expression designed to engage the body and mind. Led by SBD company members, the class will begin with light movement warm-ups and evolve into a playful “teach-back” activity where participants learn and adapt simple movement phrases together. This shared experience is designed to foster joy, connection, and well-being in a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment. Movement will be adapted as needed to ensure comfort and accessibility for all participants.

Lips Poppin Productions (featuring Exxxotica Splash, Justin Time and Katrina Twerk) is a professional drag queen company established in Jamestown, NY, bringing the best of the best in the business! With glitz, glam, wigs, makeup, costumes, comedy, dancing and drama, these performers are must-sees full of talent, excitement and laughter!

Madness Most Discreet (a four person performance collective featuring Rusty Allen, Emily Drew, Matthew McWilliams, Julie Reed.) will do a 5 p.m. pop-up preview of “Moonlight Revels” (full performances in the Wintergarden Plaza at 6 and 8 p.m. for Third Thursday.)

Eric Mcelvenny deployed three times as a Marine, and in Afghanistan on his final tour, was wounded after stepping on an IED. He suffered the amputation of his right leg below the knee. Faced with a physical challenge and an uncertain future, he made a promise to himself to run an Ironman Triathlon.
On his journey from the hospital bed in southern California to the finish line in Kona, Hawaii, he realized the challenge and adversity he was up against and the techniques he used to reach the finish line can be used against the challenges we all entertain. Eric’s experience, combined with his Christian faith, makes for a multi-dimensional and truly remarkable story.

Reggie Dabbs has a story that will cut to the heart as we hear his wonderful testimony about how he took hold of his own future through the choices he made. We can do the same, no matter what our age and situation! From being a "problem" to an unwed teenager, Reggie is fast becoming one of the most in-demand speakers, covering many faith-based topics as well as strategies aimed at helping teenagers meet and defeat their problems head-on.

Since its founding in 1979, Sprout has provided a year-round travel program of vacations as well as a year-round program of day and evening cultural, social and art-related activities in New York City for people with developmental disabilities. Since 1995, Sprout has run an annual weekend-long music, film and arts festival for an average of 225 people with developmental disabilities complete with live bands, video screenings, interactive art projects, carnival games, and other entertainment.

Jeff Ross has had to cancel his festival performance on August 2 at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts. We understand that this news may be disappointing for many of our attendees who were looking forward to his show. The National Comedy Center looks forward to rescheduling Jeff Ross’ performance for a future festival.
