BENEFITS REG LENNA CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Join Kara Bemis and J.J. Gantenbein for an unique immersive experience of yoga, deep relaxation, and whole body revitalization. Together, Kara and J.J. will provide attendees the opportunity to move, breathe, and decompress using a combination of Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga & Meditation, and the healing vibrations of sound. This unique mini-retreat is open to all levels and will be held on the stage of the historic Reg Lenna Center for the Arts looking out onto the gorgeous theater.

Kara will start the night with Hatha yoga designed to have you move and breathe all while being mindful, listening to your body, and staying safe with appropriate versions of the poses for you. Hatha yoga involves longer holds to build heat in the body, which will allow for better ease of finding length in the muscles and relaxation in the mind. The ability to get up and down from the floor is necessary for this portion of the experience,

J.J. will then guide attendees through some Kundalini yoga movements and breath practices to foster greater awareness and prepare the body and mind to deeply relax while being bathed in the healing vibrations of their pair of beautifully tuned Paiste gongs. J.J. will wrap up the experience with a short meditation and a closing song. This is an experience not to be missed!

Kara Bemis, she/her, has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and has been a certified yoga teacher since 2013.
