Since its founding in 1979, Sprout has provided a year-round travel program of vacations as well as a year-round program of day and evening cultural, social and art-related activities in New York City for people with developmental disabilities. Since 1995, Sprout has run an annual weekend-long music, film and arts festival for an average of 225 people with developmental disabilities complete with live bands, video screenings, interactive art projects, carnival games, and other entertainment.
This year we are combining our Step Up for Autism event with Sprout.
We will be starting out the evening at 5:30 PM with a walk from The Reg to CHQ Plus, TRC’s pop up store located at 221 Cherry Street. The lobby of The Reg will be opening at 6:00 PM where we welcome the community to come enjoy a pre-show beverage and participate in our basket raffle and silent sweets auction. An outstanding selection of ten films will start at 7:00 PM followed by a live sweets auction and announcement of the basket raffle and silent auction winners.
