On Thursday Night, June 15, WRFA will welcome Charity Nuse & Friends (Warren, PA) to the Reg Lenna Media Arts Studio for a special performance! The event will be recorded live for a future audio broadcast on 107.9 FM and also a video post on WRFA's Youtube Channel!
Charity Nuse is is a multi-talented singer-songwriter known for her signature “Powerhouse” vocals, psychedelic mandolin style, and captivating stage presence. Her unique blend of Folk Rock / Country Blues is infused with an edgy, yet fun-loving vibe, while remaining passionate and insightful. Drawing from a diverse range of influences, Charity's songs poetically convey the ups and downs of life - the hardships, the victories, and the laughs that define who we are. Formerly of the Nationally touring Americana-Roots band, Big Leg Emma, she has shared the stage with the likes of The Gin Blossoms, Del McCoury Band, Sam Bush, David Grisman, Old Crow Medicine Show, Derek Trucks Band, Rusted Root, Hot Tuna, the North Mississippi All-Star Duo, Leftover Salmon, among many others. Her high-energy shows, love for improvisation, and collaborative spirit create an experience that's both engaging and uplifting for her fans.
