Reg Lenna Media Arts Studio - 108 E. 3rd St. - Jamestown
In Andalucía, cool nights sizzle and crackle with energy from its famous tablaos. These café-style venues showcase flamenco at its most raw, creative, and authentic form where performers create by instinct and improvisation, reveal breathtaking technique, and shape living art through the interplay between dancers, musicians, and audience.
Now, that Andalucían spirit arrives in Jamestown.
Join us at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts – Media Arts Studio for an intimate evening of live music and an international cast of world-class flamenco artists. Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana in TABLAO invites you into an authentic flamenco experience, full of intensity, emotion, and the improvisational spark that makes this art form alive and immediate. Whether you are new to flamenco or already love the art form, this is a rare opportunity to connect deeply with a tradition that asks you to feel more vividly. More alive. More you.
At the end of the performance, there will be a brief teach-back, offering insight into flamenco’s rhythms, movements, and traditions before the evening continues into a social hour, a chance to mingle, gather in community, enjoy live music, and connect over drinks available at a cash bar. An evening not only to witness powerful artistry, but to share space and conversation together.
This performance is hosted by Sukanya Burman Dance as part of Art in Flux: Season 2, with support from the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts and the YWCA IDEA Coalition, and Arts Services Inc. Creative Impact Fund.
This program (Flamenco Vivo - Tablao) is also generously supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York State Council on the Arts, with support from the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
