Infectious with their enthusiasm, Tesla Quartet bring more than just mastery to their playing. They have an ease with one another that creates a flawless union of stringed sounds. Having performed together for over a decade, their adoration of music has only grown and inspired them to share their passion by performing at children’s hospitals, soup kitchens, libraries, retirement communities, and schools. They also partnered with Aspen Music Festival’s Musical Odysseys Reaching Everyone program (M.O.R.E) to lead workshops and master classes for aspiring string musicians. In addition to their community involvement, they’ve also made time to win countless awards, including Second Prize at the 12th Banff International String Quartet Competition, Gold Medal at the 2012 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, Third Prize and the Best Interpretation of the Commissioned Work at the 6th International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition in Vienna, and Third Prize at the 2012 London International String Quartet Competition.
