Jamestown City Council: Meet The Candidates

WRFA 107.9FM will present each of the 12 candidates who are participating in contested races for the 2019 Jamestown City Council elections in a special Meet the Candidates forum, scheduled for Thursday night, Oct. 24, 2019.

CITY COUNCIL AT LARGE (3 Seats)
- Kimberly Ecklund (R, C, I)
- Tamu Graham-Reinhardt (D, I, WF)
- Raven Mason Thompson (Libertarian)
- Gregory Rabb (D, I, WF)
- Jeffrey Russell (R, C)
- Taylor Scott (D, WF)

The forum will take place at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts inside the 3rd Floor Multimedia Room. Doors to the studio will open at 5:30 p.m. and the event will have a prompt start time of 6 p.m.

It will also be broadcast live and streamed over the Internet.

The event will allow each candidate to spend up to 5 minutes to talk a little about themselves and why they are running for office. WRFA public affairs director Jason Sample will also pose series of questions each group of candidates.

The forum will be split into two parts with all six At Large candidates taking the stage from 6 to 7pm. The six candidates who are vying for the three contested ward seats will take the stage from 7 to 8pm.

A meet and greet with the candidates will take place immediately after the forum concludes, giving audience members and the public a chance to meet with and talk with various candidates.

The event is free to attend. Seating is limited on a first-come, first-serve basis to Jamestown residents. Anyone who is unable to attend the event in person is encouraged to listen to the live broadcast on WRFA. The program will also be rebroadcast in the future by WRFA and also made available at our website.
