WRFA Radio and The Back Room Radio Hour present the second show of a brand new season of the popular live music radio show with western NY Folk/Americana recording artist Tyler Westcott.
He is a singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist from Buffalo NY. Founder of the group Folkfaces, and active member of Black Rock Zydeco, The Observers, and the Banjo Juice Jazz Band.
Also appearing will be guitarist Michael Gerholdt, presenting a variety of acoustic blues. Gerholdt is an accomplished guitarist and student of the blues genre. He currently works as a solo artist and with his project Thee Legged Hill with Jerry Waite.
Host Bill Ward will also be talking with representatives of the Child Advocacy Program.
The Chautauqua County Child Advocacy Program is a safe, child-friendly center that supports a multi-disciplinary investigative approach to child physical and sexual abuse allegations.
The Back Room Radio Hour exists to celebrate regional artists with live performances each month in front of a studio audience at the Media Arts Studio located on the 3rd floor of the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts in Jamestown NY. The show also highlights a regional service organization. It is recorded live on a Thursday night, then broadcast on WRFA radio 107.9 in Jamestown the following Monday at 7 pm.
